But that only happens IF your headline is enticing enough. If you screw up your headline, no one is going to read your article.

But, let’s be honest. It can be frustrating to labor over a headline, tweaking it, trying different variations, especially after you’ve spent countless hours writing, editing, and proofreading your article.

You see, most bloggers struggle with their headlines because we’re talking about an entirely different skillset. Headlines are all about copywriting, designing a clear and concise set of words meant to influence and persuade.

And while it usually takes an awful lot of time to get good at copywriting, I’m going to share a simple 3-step formula you can use to write killer headlines without having to write down dozens of variations.

The Recipe

A fantastic headline is designed to instantly grab the attention of anyone who stumbles upon it. It’s also enticing enough that they can’t help but click to read at least the introduction.

But what does this all mean? How do you capture someone’s attention?

It’s simple, actually, and all it takes is two elements:

benefit.

This means that your readers should be able to instantly know that they are getting some sort of value, that your article contains something that benefits them, such as learning how to earn more money.
