The #1 Thing You Need to Succeed As a Blogger2 min read

With a headline like that, you’re probably wondering what is this most important, phenomenally crucial, aspect you need to make it as a blogger.

If you’re like most people, you probably think it’s:

Nope, it’s neither one of these.

The number one, the most important ingredient, the determining factor of your success as a blogger is this:

Mastering your mindset.

Seriously, without the right mindset, you won’t become a successful blogger.

Nothing works unless you’re willing to do the work. No tool will help you unless you have the enthusiasm to show up and get stuff done.

Because here’s the thing…your mind will determine whether you truly believe that you will be successful or not.

Either way, your belief will become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Your brain is designed to align your life to fit your beliefs.

Read that again…your brain creates your reality based on what you believe in.

So if you don’t believe you can become a successful blogger, you won’t ever become one. And I can’t help you.

But if you believe deep down that you can make it work, you can.

So if you want to get results, you need to first adopt the mindset that you are a blogstar. Or, at least, you’re way on your way to becoming one.

Your fate lies not in the stars, but in your hands.

When you have the right mindset, it will show in your writing, it will show up in the way you interact with your readers and fellow bloggers, it will show up in the amount of energy you put into your blog.

Develop the right mindset, and you will become unstoppable.

  1. I am just starting my journey/career as a blogger, and I’m finding your content very useful to me. I will keep on working hard to be a successful blogger, too. 🙂

  2. Thanks for your consistent encouragement, Cristian. I’ve developed a WP “family of friends” – and “success” for me is keeping in touch with them as we encourage one another on this crazy path of life to be positive and to influence others in their positivity. You certainly do that! Thank you 😊

  3. Love this post! As soon as I saw the title I immediately thought about being determined and willing to put in the hard work, because blogging sure is a lot of work, but like you said, with the right mindset you can be successful! Thank you for this.

  4. Loving these short bite sized posts of wisdom! Not sure if you’ve heard of the difference between having a fixed mindset vs a growth mindset? A fixed mindset person believes their qualities – such as intelligence, ability etc are fixed and see so see success or failure as a confirmation of their ability or lack thereof. People with a fixed mindset give up easily because they don’t believe that effort will exact any meaningful change. Growth mindset people on the other hand, see failure as something from which to learn and grow. They understand that their potential is truly unknowable and so become obsessed with improvement. one three letter word to help cultivate a growth mindset? YET. I haven’t achieved what I set out to YET but with effort and enthusiasm I know I can. Thanks Cristian
