It’s not even going to be about blogging mistakes.
No. This post is going to be about the one requirement to having a popular blog.
Want to know what that is? Keep reading.
Given the nature of this blog, and because I offer a number of mentorship programs, I get in contact with a lot of fellow bloggers. I also follow and read a lot of blogs, both good and bad.
Do you know what makes the difference?
Some are willing to do the work that no one seems to be in the mood for, and do it for a longer period of time, than others.
That’s all it takes.
If you know nothing else about blogging, about life, then you should know that if you keep going, no matter what, you’ll have some results.
And it’s mind-boggling how few people are aware of this. How much time people spend searching for a perfect guide, some secret, some shortcut.
There is no substitute for hard work.
Let me repeat that, in case you missed it: there is no substitute for hard work.
If you are willing to put in the time and effort, then you’ll be successful.
Perseverance is the ultimate secret to becoming a successful blogger. To keep publishing one blog post after another, even when no one seems to read, to comment, to care.
To keep writing even when there seems to be no progress whatsoever.
Isn’t that insanity?
Well, yes, it is.
But how else are you going to get what you want?
The Universe seems to be testing our commitment.
How bad do you want it?
If you never asked yourself that question, if you do not know the answer to it, then you’re closer to giving up than you might think.
And no how-to guide is going to help you.
