It is said that it’s not the strongest fighter who wins the fight. Nor is it the one who trained the most or has the most experience.
It’s always the one who believes he can win more than the other guy. That’s it.
We like to believe in the opposite. We can measure a lot about a person, but we can never measure heart. Want. Desire. Passion.
How much soul you put into your words.
How much you care about the subject matter of your blog.
Emotion is the foundation on top of which all great achievement rests.
Emotion is what makes a man want to climb a damn mountain. It helps me slay dragons, even if they’re armed with nothing but hope.
Want more readers? Want to have a blog you’re proud of?
Then write a better story. Write a story that is filled with passion, with emotion, with all that you have lost and found only to lose again. Write a story about what breaks your heart at night. Write a story about what you loathe most in the world.
Write a story. But make sure it’s the one you’d want to write if it were your last.
I do occasionally write real life posts which are considerably more emotional than usual.
